Formentera is a small island just across the water from Ibiza town, with a population of only five thousand people and just thirty-five square miles in size the island is relatively unspoilt by tourism. Made up with many small villages and with marvellous beaches the island is worth a visit, however it does have limited accommodation options due to its size and focus on natural beauty rather than tourism. To fully explore the island, renting a moped is the best option, and then you will be able to explore the main port of La Sabina and the many picturesque villages along the way. With a variety of beaches to choose from, Formentera provides both nudist and regular beaches and is popular day trip location from Ibiza town.
