La Salinas

The salt flats of La Salinas are one of Ibiza's most famous landmarks; the saltpans have been in use since Carthaginians resided on the island over two thousand years ago. Originally traded as the 'white gold', when the water evaporated in the summer months the enchanting view of sparkling salt lakes is worth a visit, if not for the colonial history of the place, then the beautiful sunsets.
