Santa Eulalia Del Rio
The small and atmospheric town of Santa Eulalia is located close to some of the best beaches in Ibiza and just nine miles from the island's capital. Scenically set in the estuary of the Balearic Island's only river and overlooked by the fortress church Puig de Missa, the town is wonderful place to explore on a luxury Ibiza holiday. The town also boasts the last 'hippy' commune in Ibiza called Santa Carles, which is a historical remnant of the 1960's when hippy cultists settled here. Boats and buses regularly offer transport to Ibiza's famous northern beaches of Cala Llonga and Aigues Blanques, so you can experience both the atmospheric town and the luxurious beaches all in one day.
