Malaga

Malaga is a lively holiday resort and city on the Costa del Sol in Spain. The city is a cultural haven, with the birthplace of Pablo Picasso in the Plaza Merced and the sixteenth century Museum of Fine Arts displaying a large amount of his work. Malaga is influenced by its Moorish roots and boasts many historical and archaeological museums, along with buildings and castles dating back through the ages. The La Alcazaba fortress is the central point for many of the museums and there are some spectacular botanical gardens on the Calle Alameda. Located on the Andalusian coastline eighty miles south of Seville, Malaga also offers wonderful beaches and a reliably warm climate.
