Kefalos
Surrounded by enchanting scenery and below the old town of Kefalos, the Kefalos holiday resort was purpose built in the southern region of Kos. Holidays in Kefalos offer a laid back and tranquil holiday to visitors and with a few excellent restaurants, some bars and a couple of small nightclubs the resort atmosphere is laid back and relaxing.
Shopping caters to the tourists only in Kefalos, with some grocery stores and shops selling souvenirs and gifts. However visitors wishing to do some serious shopping can travel to Kos Town, which is a shopping haven offering a wide variety of goods.
Kefalos beach holidays offer crystalline waters and sun kissed shingle and sand stretches of beach, with a vast range of water sports available and Kefalos is situated close by to Paradise beach and some of the most impressive beaches in Kos. The resort also offers some interesting historical sites, especially in the Kos Town and boat tours can be organised for excursions to Rhodes and the volcanic island of Nisyros for a day trip.
