Lloret De Mar
Lloret de Mar has always been known for its fiery spirit and currently is regarded as the most flamboyant Costa Brava holiday resort. Originally a fishing village and Catalonian trading port, the history of the resort has now given way to many high rise hotels and nightclubs. The town predominantly caters to British visitors and is popular with families and 18 to 30's holidays. The nightlife is lively and varied with hundreds of bars, discos and nightclubs and daytime beach activities to entertain all ages. The resort consists of five sandy beaches, an aquatic zoo, a huge water park and a theme park. Lloret de Mar also offers real taste of Spain in the Placa de la Vila, where visitors can experience the delicious local cuisine while watching the Catalonian Sardana dancing.
